A former geologist and soldier in the United States Army, Pastor Schopp was ordained into the Office of the Holy Ministry on July 14, 2013, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Billings, Montana.
He began his service in God's Church as a missionary church planter and pastor in the Montana District of the LCMS before moving to northern Wisconsin to serve the dual parish of St. John and Bethlehem Lutheran Churches in Edgar and Milan, respectively.
He accepted a call in the fall of 2021 to serve as a pastoral admissions counselor at Concordia Theological Seminary here in Fort Wayne and has served Shepherd of the City as vacancy pastor since the summer of 2023.
He and his wife Tami have been blessed with three children.

Vicar Gray is a lifelong Hoosier. He holds an associate degree in Liberal Studies from Ancilla College, a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in religious studies from Indiana University in Bloomington, and a master’s degree in professional communication from IPFW.
Prior to seminary, he was associate professor and program chair for communication as well as department chair of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education for Ivy Tech’s Lafayette Region.
He and his wife Brandy have been blessed with seven children over 20 years of marriage. Vicar Gray has been serving in this role since June of 2024.

Seminarian Hallock was born and raised in Kentucky. Before attending CTSFW, he earned a bachelor of arts in communication studies from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. He's served as a Religious Affairs Specialist in the Army National Guard and is currently in his second year of the M.Div. program at CTSFW.
He is married to Analise and has two wonderful kids, Jacob and Madelynn. Seminarian Hallock has served as fieldworker at Shepherd of the City since the fall of 2023.
